The 'Ninja-mania' has officially gone global! Just days after winning Eesti Laul, our favorite trio—Lenna, Piret, and Kerli—are already conquering South America. I am beyond excited to report that Vanilla Ninja has absolutely crushed their semi-final at the prestigious Viña del Mar International Song Festival in Chile. Not only did they move on to the next round, but they actually earned the highest points from both the professional jury and the public voters! Piret Järvis-Milder shared her excitement on Instagram, thanking the judges and fans for the overwhelming support as they prepare for their next performance this Wednesday.

It is truly incredible to think that Vanilla Ninja was one of only six artists chosen for this competition out of more than 750 applicants from around the world. They are competing with their rocking new track, 'Are You Ready To Go?', another masterpiece by Sven Lõhmus. This victory feels like history repeating itself in the best way possible; exactly 18 years ago, the band won the 'Best Artist' award at this very same festival with their hit 'Birds of Peace.' Returning to the Quinta Vergara stage and receiving such a massive reception proves that their international appeal is as strong today as it was in 2008.

The stakes are high as the competition continues. After their stellar performances on February 23rd and 25th, we are all waiting with bated breath to see if they secure a spot in the grand finals on the 26th and 27th. If their semi-final scores are any indication, the girls are on a fast track to another trophy! Even while halfway across the world, they are representing Estonia with such power and pride. Keep those thumbs pressed, everyone—the Ninjas are on fire, and they aren't slowing down until they reach the top in both Chile and Vienna!
